Intermediate-Senior Motion Designer/Animator

About the Role

Fully remote, 3-month contract for a senior-level position.
Work primarily with After Effects to create dynamic motion graphics and 2D animations.
Develop animated infographics, ads, and event visuals that captivate and engage.
Demonstrate strong graphic design skills, including typography, sketching, composition, and layout.
Lead the process following the briefings from storyboarding to execution.
Collaborate closely with the team to achieve the desired artistic direction. Researching and collaborating to select visuals that elevate each project’s aesthetic.
Manage multiple projects while ensuring the creative vision aligns with the brand and advertising goals.
Keep project files and assets organized for smooth workflow and backup.
Oversee freelance designers to ensure projects are completed on time and maintain top-notch quality.
Optimize and format content for top performance across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube.

Bonus Points If You Have

Experience with video editing.
Familiarity with 3D rendering software like Redshift or Octane.
Solid knowledge of sound effects (SFX).

About You

5+ years of experience in motion graphics design.
You’ve got your own computer (MAC or Windows), Adobe subscription, and are ready to hit the ground running.
Expert in Adobe After Effects and other Adobe Creative Cloud tools, with the ability to use them seamlessly together. Solid understanding of plugins like Trapcode Suite and 3D Element.
Deep understanding of motion graphics workflows and all the technical bits that come with it. You are confident in your keyframes.
A sharp eye for timing, pacing, and the perfect flow.
Solid understanding of various 2D animation styles, from character animation to Trapcode. Buttersmooth character rigging and animation skills.
Skilled in the full creative process—storyboarding, designing, illustrating, editing, and animating.
Strong illustration and graphic design that brings visuals to life. A sharp eye for typography and killer design instincts.
Laser-focused on the details to make sure every project is polished and professional.
Super organized when it comes to managing project files and assets.
Super organized with top-notch time and project management skills (stays cool through revisions). A team player who can work independently and remotely.
